"flirt" lounge and bar "business cards" - Matchbooks have a close association with people writing phone numbers on them. This idea was taken a few steps further to dismiss the secrecy and cut to the chase. The 2 matchsticks and inscribed "strike anywhere" tagline drove this idea home.
It was later decided the bar would substitute the matchboxes for business cards.
