I was cultured in a family that has great regard for education and values, where sincerity and hard work were the virtues that were inculcated automatically in my character. Having medical background and good grades made medicine as my potential objective. Clearing the entrance exam on merit and scholarly results boost my enthusiasm to perceive it. But later in medical life I discovered conflicts in professional interests. So I took the leap into designing products as this field I think would best express my ideas and abilities.
Masters in Product Design Enterprise helped me brush up my skills and comprehend budding entrepreneur within me. It made me strong and easy as far as concept development and realization are concerned. I learned the importance of sustainable resourcing and market demands/supply chain. Design innovation skills and medical qualification have made me an ideal candidate for a job combining product design and medical knowledge.
Design studies after medicine gave me a sense of understanding the problem at the root level and strategically managing it with suitable solution. Cumulatively it developed an analytical, scientific and methodological approach to my work efforts. Being taught by internationally recognized faculty and with international peer groups maximised my value proposition and global opportunity window. I attended a student exchange programme to Ivanhoe Grammar School, Australia at the age of 15 years that exposed me to outside world at a very early stage of life. I have consistently stood a leader from school to university level.
I have proficient IT skills in AutoCAD®, SolidWorks®, Simapro®, Photoshop®, web designing, Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I have also been active in extra-curricular activities. I have secured a few internationally respected awards like Duke Edinburgh Silver Award and many art and cartooning competitions that entitle me an all-rounder. Participating in many debates, discussions, presentations and dramas has developed an extrovert in me. Organizing Inter Public School Cultural Festival and being a part of organizing committee in various regional religious events has given me leadership, teamwork, planning and organizing skills. I have also volunteered for social services like Generation Fairtrade Mentoring, Polio Eradication Programme and helping homeless animals.
My design philosophy revolves around producing innovative ideas and their execution to develop meaningful products, which would benefit not only the consumer and producer, but to the shareholder as well. My objective is to find a challenging position in a fast growing organization with a global reach, where I could efficiently utilize my knowledge and skills to produce extraordinary and innovative results. I wish to work in a company that would teach me perfectionism, and provide me with ideal freshman passport.
