Stanley B. Greenberg e-invitations - Electronic invitation commissioned by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research to promote Stanley B. Greenberg's book, Dispatches from the War Room: In the Trenches with Five Extraordinary Leaders. The invitations were designed to match the book jacket provided by Thomas Dunne Books, and this electronic invite later led to me designing invitations for future events relating to Greenberg's world-wide book tour.
Martin O'Malley Reception invitation - As an electronic piece, this invitation for a reception in honor of Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley significantly helped reduce costs and save time.
Life at the Bottom book jacket - Book jacket design for Life at the Bottom, John Langone's book about the psychological effects of Antarctica's harsh climate and the toll it takes on the scientists who work and live there.
ThrillSpy 2010 Poster - The 2010 ThrillSpy poster was designed to achieve two things: (1) evoke 1960s-era spy movie posters, and (2) showcase a Washington, DC landmark per the client's request. These were achieved with hand-cut lettering and an illustration of the Capitol building.

ThrillSpy logo - Logo for ThrillSpy, an annual international film festival organized and founded by Will Gorham. The typography and mark were designed to be used separately or together, depending on the item. Even without the figure, the logo evokes the spy genre by conjuring up imagery of excised government documents. (See accompanying business cards.)

VidTaggr logo - Logo for VidTaggr (vidtaggr.com), a site that allows you to tag comments that appear as videos play, whether they be on YouTube or a DVD, allowing for people to do such useful things as sharing their MST3K-style jokes with people they've never met.

SwitchStop logo & ad campaign - Logo and ads for SwitchStop, a product launched by ImagineThat! that fits over a light-switch ensuring that no one can turn it on or off. The ad campaign was aimed towards the "handyman" American male. The campaign consists of three 8.5x11" print ads.

Prometheus Hot Sauce ad campaign - A series of print ads for the Habanero pepper sauce, From Prometheus to Man. The brand's connection to Grecco-Roman mythology is highlighted as it's a trait that sets the product apart from its competitors. The campaign measures 7x10.5".

Prometheus Hot Sauce promotional publication - Two spreads from a 43-page book retelling the Prometheus myth that I wrote, illustrated, and designed. The book measures 7x10.5", matching the hot sauce print ads.
In Loving Memory logo & print collateral - In Loving Memory is the name of an exhibit at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society that focuses on how the people of the Victorian Era dealt with the deaths of loved ones. The set is made up of a 4x9" rack card and a 7x5" mailer. Photographs provided by the BECHS staff.
Coalition publication - Two spreads from an informational booklet for Coalition, a BMX company based in Rochester, NY.
Coalition logo family - Logos for a family of Rochester-based companies that target a young, predominantly male audience immersed in X-game and heavy metal culture. A lion was used since a coalition is a small group of male lions that protects the pride through intimidation, and this mirrors the company's view of where they stand in respect to their competitors in the BMX industry.
Coalition poster series - A series of posters for the Coalition family, matching the sensibilities of their existing aesthetics.
Red Bull ad design - An illustrated print ad promoting the Red Bull energy drink that was designed to be more in line with the product itself than the "It gives you wings!" campaign. The ad measures 8.5x11".
GupShup publication - GupShup (Hindi for gossip or chit-chat) is a monthly newsletter for members of a South Asian student organization enrolled at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The newsletter featured articles by students and faculty, and also included coupons for local restaurants and ethnic stores. I founded the publication, served as editor, and also illustrated for and art-directed every issue, often writing articles as well. Each issue measures 5.5x8.5".
OASIS Basant event promotion (2007) - By employing hand-cut stencils and $20 worth of spray paint - alongside small fliers printed on colored paper - only a fraction of our $250 advertising budget was used. In addition, the event was sold out, an occurrence unprecedented in the organization's 11-year history. The posters are 18x12" and were painted exclusively on paper found in various recycling bins around campus. The fliers are 8.5x5.5".
OASIS logo & ad campaign - Logo for OASIS, a student organization at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The logo was designed during the campaigning process as my team ran for reelection to serve on the board. The campaign is composed of one 8.5x11" ad, and three double-sided 5.5x4.25" handouts.
OASIS Basant event promotion (2006) - 2006 collateral promoting an annual Spring-time festival stage show organized by an Indian student organization at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Materials include an 11x17" poster, a 3x8" flyer, and a 5x8" event program.
Publication - Pages 1, 4, and 5 of a graphic novel retelling of Harlan Ellison's short story, Repent Harlequin! Said the Ticktock Man. Ellison's original words remain intact and are juxtaposed with my illustrations.
Sakad Events ad design - A single-page print ad for a Florida-based event planner company. The company was new at the time and consequently had no photos available for inclusion in the ad, leading to this simple and effective ad featuring their business card (also of my design). The ad measures 8.5x11".
My logo & identity package (2007 - 2008) - As I feel that contrast is a defining aspect of my work, this logo's design comes from the amalgamation of two different mythological symbols, one representing energy and the other symbolizing tranquility. Pictured here are my resume, business card, envelope, and a sample cover letter. The resume brochure measures 3.5x7".
