The proposed structure offers protection from the direct sun in hot summer days and from the rain and the wind in bad weather conditions. It is light and easy to transport and can be quickly prepared for use wherever and whenever needed. According to the social need, bigger structures, composed of several elements, can be organized. The different colors and level of transparency of Sunbrella fabrics create variety of shades, making an allusion to flower compositions. Besides the idea of a basic temporary shelter, these structures can provide community space suitable for various social activities. The structural strategy is based on the solidity of the spherical form and is inspired by the curve of the kites. Two inflatable rings are crossed at an angle of 45 degrees. Sunbrella fabric elements on the top and at the bottom of the sphere prevent the failure of the rings, while the seating elements hold the light inflatable structure in position.
