LETTERER, DC COMICS; NEW YORK, NY — 2007-2011
Duties include lettering a minimum of 13 pages a day, handling corrections, style guide creation and maintenance. I consistently exceed the requirements for my position, often allowing myself the time to implement higher levels of artistic merit and use of high design in my lettering. When possible I made myself available to take on cover copy overflow, design pages, and other special projects for the marketing, advertising, and design departments. During my time at DC I also took on a few spot illustration assignments, and a series of Trading Cards licensed by Rittenhouse Archives.
PRE-PRESS SERVICES ARTIST, DC COMICS; NEW YORK, NY — 2005-2007
Duties included preparing covers and interiors for print. Pre-flighting interior elements, layout, cover routing, art corrections, coloring, art restoration and reconstruction. When possible I cross-trained with the lettering department by doing corrections, and assisted senior artists in their responsibilities.
