Tango is a form study by Nicholas Fjellberg Swerdlowe, drawing inspiration from Latin dance and the architectural methods of Santiago Calatrava. The plastic exterior is made from a Hybrid Resin, a bio based material made from potato starch and annually renewable plants.
Idea Visualization - Over three hundred sketches were drawn exploring form and creative ways of using light. Ambient, direct, and diffused light was carefully considered within each individual design. Early inspiration was drawn from the fast lines, sharp forms, and soft curves.
