Program or be Programmed - This is a poster I designed for "program or be programmed," a book written by Douglass Rushkoff. Rushkoff's main argument is that those who use modern technology but do not understand the basic structure of that technology, are letting the technology use them. The font for "complexity" is a simplified and pixelated version of the typeface Helvetica. This font was designed by a team of four consisting of me, Matt Lewicki, Cameron Wray, and Sarah Straub. Size: 24x32in

The New Typography in bodoni - A poster for a typographic exhibition. The bottom graphics are the positive and negative spaces of a cropped version of the letter W set in the Bodoni typeface. For the Typographic body my design was based off of a 17th century typographic layout. I choose this layout because it created a contrast between an old fashioned layout and a contemporary typeface. Size: 11x17in.

The New Typography in Bembo - A poster for a typographic exhibition. The background graphics are the positive and negative spaces of a cropped version of the letter R set in the Bembo typeface. The colors are what make up the negative shape. I chose these colors because they are the primary colors for mixing (with the exception of green) and printing (with the exception of yellow.) Size: 11x17in.
