The table legs were initially formed out of tapered laminations for both consistent wood grain direction and strength. They were then hand carved to achieve a more organic aesthetic. The center, egg shaped piece was created by using a CNC router to accurately cut the grooves for the legs. Finally, it was turned on a lathe and hand carved to achieve its final look.
