I started in the industry as an intern at a small medical journal, where I was responsible for circulation and record keeping. From there, I moved onto the New York Post and did photo toning and correction for 3 daily editions. I then went on to join the fledgling web department to my position as Web Photo Editor, overseeing the day to day selection and preparation of photos for www.PAGESIX.com (now defunct) and www.NYPOST.com. I was also responsible for a web “column” named Celebrity Photos, which was consistently the most viewed item (840,000 hits in Jan. 2001) on the site.
My side interests and ongoing personal projects include:
- 3D modeling, animation, UV & texture mapping, and camera tracking with Blender 2.75
- VR & game development utilizing Unity 5, Blender 2.75 & Photoshop CS4
- Video editing & compositing using Premiere Pro CS2, Premiere Elements 12 and HitFilm Express 3, Concept art, illustration and hand painted (acrylic, watercolor and digital) texture maps
With my professional experience, I bring the ability to work under tight deadlines and the ability to work with clients who are demanding and exacting in every detail. With my interests and passions, I can bring a lot of creative energy and know-how over a wide range of disciplines.
