Lux Luminaire was my 2nd year undergraduate course project. It is a wall mounted lighting fixture that allows the user to adjust the colour of the light and it’s intensity by use of a remote control. The lighting fixture produces light from ultra-bright LED strips therefore delivering relatively high energy efficiency. The centre part of the assembly is a structure of polycarbonate rods that magnify the light as well as manipulate the light rays to create a magnificent spectacle of light.
