Typography Seat - For this project the computer was not allowed to be used at all. All typography had to be found or hand drawn. We also had to do the project for someone who was our opposite, and we could create whatever we wanted. I chose to do this project for my sister who needed a seat for her makeup table.
Typography Seat - Closeups of the details of the wood burned typography and painted fabric. The words painted on the seat fabric are words that describe my sister. The words burned into the sides of the box are based on memories, and each side had a theme: family, friends, relationships and miscellaneous. There were also quotes on vellum paper that allowed the halogen bulb that was inside the seat shine through.
