The ‘Anatomix-Ultra’ running shoe is a mixture of human and ostrich anatomy studies. Strategic points for ground contact during landing, transitioning and toe off were analysed in both humans and the ostrich to result in a hybrid running outsole that is super flexible, cushioned, stabile and lightweight.
