Brass Casting :: Filson
Created a solid brass Arrowhead buckle prototype for Filson. Recycled brass casings from the shooting range, removed the primers and cleaned. Since this was a 1-off, the foundry molding technique was investment casting - similar to what jeweler's use for fine-detail metal casting.
An original pattern was found at a thrift store. I created silicone molds and created wax patterns.
