New Design -currently in Portland, ME- Freelance Design between full-time employment, 1994-Present
15 years of experience designing exhibits, architecture, events, retail and products. I pride myself on always keeping deadlines with quality and value, while a thorough understanding of construction, systems, and design trends keeps my number on speed dial with my client contacts. I am always seeking a creative solution that takes all of the needs into account. While I manage many projects as president and owner of New Design, I have worked as a freelance designer at these firms as well:
Events: Mr. Youth, Zoom Media, Aura 360, Grand Central Marketing, Beehive Media, Stackbox, Escalate Now, Formula Street, Garrand, Awestruck.
Exhibits: Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, GES, George P. Johnson, Rutchik Group, Hill & Partners, Transformit, Exhibit Resources.
Architecture: Wilson Butler Architects, Moshe Safdie Associates, Carter Burgess, Piatt Associates, Tricarico
Products: Fitch, Inc., Mark White Design, Opus furniture, Wentworth Technology.
Museums: Joe Viamonte, Our World Children's Discovery Museum
Set Design: Park Place Studios
Retail: Staples, Inc., Rippers, Inc.

Transformit, Inc.-Gorham, ME- Senior Exhibit Designer 10/10-Present
Hired to design and help direct the fabrication of The North Face 6000 sq.' exhibit for Outdoor Retailer 2011. The exhibit won Best in Show, and went on to win Best Green Design at the MOD'11 awards in Las Vegas. Currently working on a monthly newsletter, and revamping the company website.

Pierce Promotions/Omnicom-Portland, ME- Senior Design Producer 8/06-9/07
Recruited and relocated to Portland, ME to manage the 3D department for this rapidly growing event marketing company. Responsibilities included supervising all 3D work as it translated through the estimating, production, and fabrication departments. Much of our work revolved around RFP’s—brainstorming, ideation, and bringing our visions to life as a sales tool. My greatest value to this company was creating practical functioning designs that provided standout branding experiences. Clients included Verizon, Kraft, P&G, Diageo, TD Banknorth, and Wal-mart.

Exhibitgroup/Giltspur -Avon, MA- Senior Exhibit Designer 4/05-8/06
While attending classes at Mass College of Art, I worked in the model shop where I learned all of the aspects of exhibit design. Upon graduating, I became a “full-time” freelancer conceiving, sketching, drafting, rendering, presenting, and selling concepts for exhibits to companies looking to achieve brand name recognition at trade shows throughout the world. The relationships that I forged though 16 years as a freelancer and employee continue to this day with several different divisions within the company, including internationally. While I have worked as a team member in hundreds of design situations, my greatest achievements have been winning new builds with international clients including DuPont Pharma, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Grace, Novartis, NEC, Hind, Genzyme, Biogen, and Wyeth.

Our World Children’s Discovery Museum -Cohasset, MA -Board Member 9/01-8/06
As the Design Committee chairman I directed and designed the architecture and exhibits for this fledgling museum. Fund raising was always the issue, but the conversion of an old school building into a modern learning museum for children was our goal. Purchasing an outdated interactive traveling exhibit from the World Wildlife fund and converting it into a tool for learning about cultural diversity was the practical solution to open the doors.

Wilson Butler Lodge, Inc. -Boston, MA -Architectural Designer 4/99-11/01
Managed all aspects of architecture and design for the theaters on the Radiance class ships for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Responsible for design drawings, checking on shop drawings, and directing ship builders in overseas shipyards to follow design plans. Designed, drafted, and computer rendered many aspects of the RCI Voyager class theaters and the Celebrity Millennium theaters and Grand Foyer. Designed and drafted the Grand Staircase, the Great Room, and VIP suite for the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, CT. Created 3D model renderings, walkthroughs, and graphic presentations for many of the projects and proposals including the Virginia Performing Art Center, the Boston Ballet studios, and the Huntington theater.
