Serengeti Travel Poster - This project focused on promoting a region of choice. The purpose of this project was to research/conceptualization and image-making. This project stresses experimentation of concept/idea, and various image-making techniques.
I chose Serengeti because when I get the chance to include animals in my projects, I do. After doing some research, I incorporated the most sought after species in the Serengeti area. I also included images to create a textured background but still keeping it simple.

Icon System - I designed a system of 5 icons, where each icon represented a decade. The idea behind the icons is to create a simple graphic that is quickly understood by universal audiences. The icons also needed to work in black and white.
I chose eyeglasses because it is something extremely universal and easily recognizable. They were a good design to use by being able to stay simple yet legible. I tried to focus on the styles that had the most dramatic change in the 20 year span.
