Description

A brief entitled 'Design for the Brand'. We were asked to design a product for a brand of our choice, & asked to apply the characteristics and details of the chosen brand to an iron.

I chose Japanese design house +-0, because I loved Naoto Fukasawa's detailing, and out of the box thinking. For instance he applies a 5mm radii to most corners on his products, because it's the natural radius which occurs on the corners of wood over time and gives ' a sense of familiarity to the touch'.
