TTL logo design study

A logo case study I made on myself as an exercise for Centro de Estudios Especializados (CESDE) in Medellín, Colombia.

The idea was to illustrate my services as a web designer who creates sites that can be managed by multiple users, through different account sessions.

So I combined the initials of my name with the concept explained before, by using the idea of smiling facial profiles, also as a way to denote a friendly service.

According to color theory, orange, as a secondary color, commands attention without being as overpowering as red. Because of its association with changing seasons and also the fruit of the same name, orange can represent movement, health, vitality, positiveness, so I chose this color to reinforce a quality of kind service.

Since I wanted a bicoloured logo, I picked grey for its neutrality and balance. Although it can be seen as a moody color, it is a cool, conservative chroma that seldom evokes strong emotion associated with formality.
