In our modern world, silence has become vague and almost unheard of. The concept behind this jewellery piece is to explore a way to shield ears from the constant flow of noise. This piece is a body adornment, a metaphor,
and a form exploration. ‘The Shield’ is designed as an armor that delicately covers over the ear, reflecting the noise on its surface in translucent fashion of shimmering colours.
