Vanessa Byrne studied Applied design at the Victorian University of TAFE in 2004. She then went onto studying illustration in Melbourne where she now is an emerging illustrator. Vanessa combines painting and drawing to explore narrative and the art of story telling. Her work reflects an interest in contemporary illustration and has a soft traditional yet detailed style of approach.
