Public Space Design - Flow
I have been commissioned to design the proposal for an Exhibition and Visiting Centre located in Lalbagh on the lake. This is a regeneration project of the park which addresses public space design. The inspiration is a Jewel, precious and holds a special place in the heart of its owner; in this case the owner is the general public and especially Bangaloreans. Water, being a calming and soothing element, is used to establish a relationship with the context of the site. The use of traditional materials in a modern representation helps add a cultural context. This intervention creates a diverse place where its users are able to unite and share a space for different uses and experiences.
