Applied typography 02 - the O ashtray - Typography applied to objects or design is even a greater challenge than typography itself. Every letter or type is a heavy element with it’s own rich story or background. Therefore, applying letters or words to design is a very delicate task. It can easily happen, that the momentum of letters or words can come in conflict with the meaning, symbols or shapes of the design. For this reason, I’ve decided to “supress†the typography for the sake of the design.
