VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Alumni Stories Co-ordinator and Story Team Editor, Made in Brunel 2012
October 2011 – July 2012 (10 months)

Made in Brunel is a student-led platform for empowering talented people across the Brunel University School of Engineering and Design. It culminates in an annual exhibition to showcase the best of Brunel design and engineering innovation to industry.

Working with the Story Team, our main responsibility was to effectively communicate the journeys of the students in keeping with the 2012 'journeys fuelled by ideas' theme through a 7,000-copy, 320-page published book.

As the Alumni Stories Co-ordinator, I was partly responsible for contacting Brunel design and engineering alumni and creating visuals to communicate their journeys.

And as the Story Team Editor, I proofread and edited up to 180 project descriptions, titles and sub-titles and also undertook general-content editing.
