Vivienne Austin has been a designer in the fashion industry for over twenty years in both the UK and US markets. As well as having run her own label; Vivienne has created swimwear/active wear collections for an array of established companies ranging from large distribution groups, such as Sara Lee and Liz Claiborne in the USA and Marks and Spencer in the UK, to exclusive high-end labels including the currently re-branding British heritage brand Liberty.

Work History

She has also taught at the Royal College of Art (MA Course) and until recently was a visiting lecturer at Southampton University, Winchester School of Art, Fashion Department (BA Course) where she mentored students developing their final collections for graduate fashion week GFW C.V. available upon request.

    Presently studying for an MA in Fashion & the Environment at the London College of Fashion. Prior to this I was a design manager and am skilled in the development of product in the women’s market incl: swimwear, beachwear, active wear, as well as; casual wear and accessories (for men and women), from concept through to final fit pre production sealed samples. Able to follow critical paths and adhere to budget constraints. Teaching experience includes The Royal College of Art, Winchester School of Art and Regent's College, London.
