Young Jin Chung

My design process begins with a poetic idea. Through brain storming and concept and material exploration, I look for what can be designed. For example, when I interned at Mio Culture, a sustainable modern design company, I explored maximizing materials in order to efficiently create a side table. After long origami explorations, I and my boss created a laser cut steel table, which can be shipped flat-pack, and no tools are required for assembly.
