Hostel - The requirement for this studio was to design a hostel open to migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, travellers, local and international students, and to be located on the site of a former migrant hostel. The sloping ramps are designed to make the architecture appear more graceful and elegant so that migrants will feel welcomed. The hostel includes a community library, prayer rooms, a medical centre and a health centre as well as classrooms and residential programs.

Metropolis - This project was designed in memory of one of the founders of the metabolist movement - Kisho Kurokawa (1934 - 2007).
In 1958, Kisho Kurokawa predicted a “Transition from the Age of the Machine to the Age of Life,†and has continually utilized such key words of life principles as metabolism (metabolize and recycle), ecology, sustainability, symbiosis, intermediate areas (ambiguity) and Hanasuki (Splendor of Wabi) in order to call for new styles to be implemented by society.

Alter - The existing building that was chosen in this project is the Hamer Hall by Roy Grounds. The new program to be added into Hamer Hall is an architectural archive which involves in cataloguing,storing and framing a body of design work, documents and writings, while also providing a framework for accessing the architect’s work.
