- Analytical Deliverables
(Infographics / written analysis)

I do . . .
- Collaborative work-session hosting!
- Analysis of user feedback to
drive concept design
- Data analysis & visualization
- Structural inventory and re-imagination

I bring . . .
- A holistic understanding of disparate components, aka cohesiveness to design
- Meticulous pragmatic thinking
- Enthusiasm everyday :-)

I love . . .
designing user interface because I know I'm contributing to other people's experience of the world. I feel appreciated by my peers and lucky to know so many wonderful talented people. As a designer, I value a strong work ethic, a well-trained mind and the ability to richly imagine how people might feel and behave within any given circumstance. I love that I get to observe experiences then problem solve to improve those experiences. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy innovating on the fly to get a job done well. I've been blessed with successes through my love for working with people, researching and responding vigorously . . . basically, getting deep into a project and having fun with it!!

I know . . .
a UX designer must take ownership of many of aspects of a project. Fortunately, relatively few of these are truly done alone. Continually exchanging feedback is an important component of all of my work.

Resumé

I’ve worked at..
Wells Fargo as a User Experience Designer
in San Francico, CA, since July 2012
I have been fortunate to be able to contribute to a highly ambitious redesign project at Wells. I act as liaison between Design and Research teams, working to set goals and a process for responding rapidly to analysis. My own process includes: examining users' experiences with existing systems; visualizing findings; consulting with system experts and developing design concepts to improve user experience; testing concepts; reviewing analytics and user feedback with my team, determining findings and reiterating design concepts in response to those findings.

Developing relationship with business partners is also a big part of ensuring the success of a project and something I enjoy engaging in!

RAXA as a User Experience Design Volunteer
remotely from May 2012 – September 2012
RAXA is a collective of designers, developers and doctors building an open source electronic medical records system for hospitals in rural India. I work part-time pro bono for RAXA helping to streamline operational processes and define unified style guides.

The product being developed encompasses both desktop SAAS applications and tablet specific applications. The goal is to deliver reliable, relevant and consistent patient information as well as tools that help the hospital operate more smoothly.

Ninth Coast Technology as a User Experience Designer
June 2011 – June 2012 (1 year 1 month) Laguna Beach, CA
Ninth Coast is a small firm where I was able to take ownership of projects that included web and mobile application design. I primarily focused on strategizing user friendly process, creating clickable mockups, and working with business partners. Responsibilities included:
Wireframing
Content management
Visual Design
Project management

Innovation Academy Charter School as a UX Researcher
June 2010 - June 2011 (1 year) Tyngsboro, MA
Through research and design I developed mockups of an improved vision of the school's Content Management Systems. I also concurrently taught courses at the school, which gave me an authentic first-hand user experience viewpoint!
