The Symbolic ICU/CCU Bed Position Controller has been designed to improve and accelerate the bed adjustment process performed by nurses.
Hospital beds need to be adjusted into various positions to suit different patients and different emergency situations. In some cases, adjustments need to be made quickly. On a typical bed-position control unit, the range of similar buttons for different parts of the bed could cause confusion in critical situations when stress levels are high. It takes time to master the typical system.
Conversely, the Symbolic ICU/CCU Bed Position Controller offers a set of adjustment levers that mimic the various sections of the bed. The intention of this symbolic format is to decrease nurse errors, and improve and accelerate the interaction between operator and bed-controller.
