When we first decided to work on sanitary waste, little did we know that we would be dealing with something much larger than just waste management. Innumerable social, cultural and religious factors revolve around the phenomenon of menstruation and addressing one thing meant that we needed to address them all. This was both challenging and enthralling since we needed to sift through all those layers to come to any tangible solution.
