Fine Arts & Creative Works

`Although I am an occasional painter but my artworks freely range from numerous book covers and illustrations to drawings, designs, calligraphy and paintings. Done in luminous colors inspired from bengal poetry and various thickness of lines, dots, shapes and textural effects-the works finally display sense of design and space relationship. Where an expressionistic abstraction dominates and visual pleasure prevails over such other considerations as meaning and content. This is my artistic philosophy as well. Nature is the chief staple of my art. The artworks display a kind of inspiration from different aspects of nature, such as sky and cloud, water and raindrops, ocean and waves, river and boats, land and stones, leaves and flowers, roots and trees, budding organic forms and so on recur in my canvases. I believe that there are no specific subjects for art. Anything would do as long as it shapes up into art in any creative hands’.
