I am a creative designer with a passion for surface pattern design! My work is inspired by organic structures found in nature and fresh, vibrant colour schemes. I produce designs, patterns in repeat and artwork for various industries including fabrics, gift cards, wrapping paper, and stationery.

Design
I begin by gathering inspiration from life, nature, magazines, books, web, etc. Creating a mood board of ideas and colour schemes and sketching ideas in black and white before adding colour. From this paintings and layout ideas are produced and from a selection, a pattern is created and can be re-worked on the computer or finished as a piece of artwork. Patterns can be provided in various formats to include half-drop repeat, colour ways, layouts, etc.
I work with an experimental approach to pattern design beginning with traditional processes and finalising work using computer manipulation, experimentation and repeat. Packages: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (CS4). Designs can be produced either digitally or by hand.
Collection
The main prints can be designed along with co-ordinating pattern designs and various colour ways to create a complete collection.
