Essentially, they are musicians striving to create unique and original sounds by utilizing whatever instruments they can get their hands on for the sake of musical exploration.
Ideations - Like with every project, early ideations begin with exploring a variety of ideas, In this case, the subject was musical instruments. A design direction was chosen from the initial sketches. The musical saw was felt to be most unique, given its signature sound and awkward manner which it is performed.
Ideations - Each sketch possessed certain qualities which, in the end were collected into a final design for further development through digital modeling. A final look was fleshed out after completing a series of marker renderings, digital mockups, as well as physical models.
Final Design - The Moog saw combines elegance with simplicity to create a very clean yet functional design.
