Ideations - Because of the nature of the market, early ideation sketches explore various wild and bizarre ideas for eyewear. The goal was to try and push the limits to where eyewear can go and seek out the most marketable and sellable designs for the considered market.

Skullz Snowboard Goggles - The first concept are snowboard goggles mimicking the look of a human skull. Initial sketches were literal interpretations of a skull turned into goggles. However, several variations led to a more refined design which takes certain characteristics of the skull to give the goggles a skeletal and bonelike appearance. These goggles are designed to appeal to the crazy wild extreme sports segment of the market.

Shadez Sunglasses - Second concepts are sunglasses designed to look like AC vents found in automobiles. The vents are tinted so that it can be viewable with the flaps down. The flaps can be flipped up with a knob located on the bridge, turning the vents into view slots. Inspiration was drawn from details such as grills and vents found on cars to achieve an automotive look and feel.

Digi-Eyes Glasses - The Digi-Eyes concept are glasses that implement Transparent OLEDs to project digital eye expressions that distinguish the different moods of the user. The glasses determine the user’s mood through the tone of voice or certain key words. This concept is a fun way for users to express themselves and to impress others while making them smile.
