This was a fun educational/self-promo project based on a brief to help nail down a design direction and structure for a :30 commercial for an EDM concert. This was not an actual project for Diesel, but the brief was handled as though it was. Design boards were developed with the request to remain strictly on-brand, therefore all elements and models reflect Diesel's edgy look. The Diesel logo rectangle is continued throughout the piece as either red or white to provide a consistent visual link to the logo. Diesel's font, Franklin Gothic Compressed, is the font. .
After developing the design direction based on Diesel's brand look and feel, I began to assemble assets that fit with their style and message, especially the two models on the end card. Video clips were obtained from Freepik and Envato, audio was a soundtrack from an EDM festival held in Barcelona the previous year. The piece was put together in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
