Regolith
??Regolith, the loose layers of sand, dust, and stone found on Earth and Mars, serves as a living archive, preserving the stories of two worlds. These sediments hold the keys to understanding life as it was, as it is, and as it could be.
Inspired by 1980s space media, I became captivated by imagined futures where life exists beyond Earth, and by the questions of what it means for life to arrive or return here. I drew visual and conceptual influence from the pleated designs of space suits, engineered for adaptability and movement in unknown environments.
This collection is built for travelers—modern explorers navigating not just space, but the layers of history beneath their feet. Each piece transforms and shifts with the wearer, embracing utility, change, and curiosity. With subtle nods to Western silhouettes, I reimagine the wearer as a pioneer of their planet, revealing that Earth’s regolith holds stories still waiting to be uncovered.
