S/S 2015 Womenswear Wax Block print Kimono collection:

Six cropped Kimono Jacket styles, in cotton, silk, with bugle beading, currently being developed onto organic silk and chiffon.
Focusing on how dancers move, Cloudia looked to the practical Kimono and its easy to wear one size fits all for this collection, looking at structures and how square shapes (Kimono blocs) moulds on to round shapes (human form) the Kimono print names and all the etiquette and tradition and names of Kimono patterns.
I researched West African wax block prints and found this was also the case, and
I wanted to communicate some sense of the culture of Ghana, through these print names, and as cultures are most accessed through food, music, and clothing styles, I settled on food as universal language, and the trendy chop bar and street foods of Accra, to communicate these in Fashion garment.
