It was important for this brochure to have a wow factor. It needed to speak to the current as well as potential customer base. The laser die cut cover reinforces the brand identity by showcasing all of the royalty free industry images within the BHB brand mark.
The capabilities brochure opens to an opaque paper with the royalty free imagery masked within the BHB brand mark. Alignment was critical to coordinate between the diecut cover and the printed page underneath where the brand mark is used as a frame for the industry imagery. To reinforce the brand, the brand mark is given dominance throughout and is the first and last thing seen visually. Throughout the brochure, key phrases and words are enlarged so that the main message from each spread is quickly viewed. To mimic the diecut on the cover, small squares within the blue strip expose the hero image in the right hand corner. Small squares of color were also scattered on the text pages – using colors from the coinciding hero image – to support BHB's ability to adapt to each clients needs. The large custom "hero" photos were art directed by me with each customer location offering its own set of challenges to achieve a successful shot.
The customer was so thrilled with this image that they purchased it from the photographer. This was a very challenging photo to achieve. The room was extremely small and we needed to fit several people into the shot as well as somehow incorporate the various radio stations. The computer monitor was shot separately and overlaid on the screen in the final composited photo.
The brochure included a pocket folder which enabled lenders to include pertinent information for each new prospect as well as their business card..
