The client was looking for an updated design to the existing cover (shown left). The book is a series of essays of the authors journey abroad to Italy. The author is from Texas so the goal was to weave in his proud origins into the cover yet still speaking to the subject matter of the essays. Typeface usage and photo selection was key to this cover design's success. The project is on hold but the cover concept had been client approved.
