Lamp and Watercraft design - Metal Work Projects (undergraduate) Lady Lamp: Sheet metal cut, welded and polished into this "ladylike" form. The holes pierce through the body to create sensual mood lighting. Water Stryder: A group effort to create a human powered watercraft. The four paddle system helps the user stride across the water. Conduit Piping was cut, bent, and welded into leaf-like forms then welded to a frame. Fiber glass, resin and felt helped water proof the craft.
Tea Light Design - This design can be taken apart/rebuilt in seconds. -1/4" square stock was milled, filled, sanded, and polished. -1/8" Plexiglass was cut to shape and sandblasted.
