Omission Beer

This assignment was to create a brand identity and packaging for Widmer Brothers' new gluten-free beer, Omission. The concept was represented by the partial removal of the letter "O" in the name Omission, symbolizing the extraction of the gluten from the beer. Six different icons were created to work as a graphic device used to lift the "O" out of the wordmark. Initially released in two styles, a lager and a pale ale, Omission quickly became the all-time best selling gluten-free beer and was in the top 15% of all new beer sales for that year.
