Started a design studio after moving to Washington State. I do everything. Administrative, research and development, marketing, product design, and so on....

Sold furniture and assisted customers in designing homes. Designed and set sales floor for the store. Began making custom furniture for customers when right pieces were not available. Restored and repaired antiques for customers.

Hired on for a large home project. Also worked on smaller blacksmith and structural steel projects. Here i became proficient in all aspects of steel work- layout, cutting, drilling, welding, jig making, installing, and so on.

Worked as commercial diver maintaining and cleaning the bottoms of recreational and commercial boats.

Worked at a friends B&B for the summer season after collage. Worked in every aspect of business: fix buildings and utilities, work in front office, cook breakfast, make menus, remodel for new kitchen and reception, and so on.

During my studies in college the college president asked me to design and build a coffee shop in the newly completed library. The next project was to remodel the colege's old administrative offices into a temporary space for the art department. Leading a team of students we completed a 6000 sq/ft (550m2) remodel during the summer semester. The space included a digital lab, print lab, darkroom, ceramic and sculpture studio, teacher offices, music recording studio and classroom spaces.

2004 season worked as a boat mechanic and service technician. Worked primarily on classic wooden boats.
2005 season operated and reorganized parts department. Also maintained and serviced wooden boats for marina customers.

The 2002 season was spent operating a concession stand and warming hut on the mountain. The stand was a solo operation and every aspect of operation was my resposibility. Stand setup and design, stocking product, on mountain marketing, cashier, cook, and so on.
The 2003 season was spent assisting the General Manager in day to day operations of the mountain. I went where the GM could not be; i.e. meeting repair teams, dealing with employment shortages in every department (especially after fresh snow), mediating customer complaints, and so on....

After taking a road trip I landed here to work for the summer season. Worked as a mechanic, rigger, varnisher, ways (water railway for hauling boats) operator, and many other assorted jobs in boat yard.

Maintained and serviced boats at a Lake Tahoe marina. Discovered a passion for classic wooden boats and worked frequently on a wide variety of classics.

Head of team that maintained facilities and vehicles for a private school.

Member of a small team responsible for all mountain, snow removal, and road vehicles. Summer season was for maintaining winter vehicles (some classics too i.e. 1940's Tucker). Winter season was spent maintaining vehicles on a 24-hour schedule and occasional emergency assistance.

Member of a team that maintained grooming machine fleet, mountain auxilliary power plants, ski lift backup systems, and all over snow transport vehicles. Responsibilities changed by the season: Summer season was for servicing and overhauls and special projects; Winter time was 24 hour operations in all conditions, I was mostly on night operations and worked as a team of two keeping the fleet of grooming machines operating and handling on mountain emergencys ranging from vehicle recovery to search and rescue.
