Katherine Koehler is a User Experience design expert and upstream product marketing strategist with 20+ years delivering products and experiences in Fortune 100 and medical technology companies. She brought products from concept to international launch while at Procter & Gamble, then gained downstream product management and operations experience at Hewlett Packard where she designed printer experiences and product strategies to meet brand, portfolio, environmental, market share and cost goals for $12B worth of HP products. She was a recognized international authority on packaging, stakeholder motivations, environmental policies, the out of box experience, global retail and online sales motions, UX, ethnographies, and emotionally resonating unboxing and graphic design. Most recently, Katherine was the first designer at Dexcom, a medical device company, where she introduced and established User Centered Design and she has more than 23 patent applications and publications pending.
Katherine graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Xavier University and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration on product development from the University of Cincinnati. Katherine also trained in New York City at the Pratt Institute, an art school.
