Understanding identity and introspection are tasks that require genuine self-reflection. My life’s journey has revolved around revealing the layers of my innermost complexities and showcasing my authenticity. I strive to elevate to my highest true self without fearing the limitations of social constructs. Through my journey of self-actualization, I aspire to provide a space for others who seek to find familiarity and connection.
When the wearer walks, the movement creates an autokinetic optical illusion. Additionally, the various directions of black and white lines that visually encapsulate the wearer’s form further the metaphor behind my vision. The sheer lines mechanically pressed into pleats juxtaposed to the hardness of leather, showcases the visual duality of hard and soft.
