Laser Cut Laptop Stand
Using a laptop can lead to strain on a user's neck as they arch their body in order to be at eye level with top of the display. I intended to design a desk accessory that addressed this problem using a single sheet of plywood and a laser cutter. These two parameters were set as part of a 'Furniture Accessory Design' subject during my Industrial Design education. In this project I learned the ergonomic requirements for a workplace environment. And the tolerance considerations for precision joinery using a laser cutter.
