Role: Lead Designer
Objective: The Ontario Dentist magazine needed a visual overhaul to modernize its layout and improve engagement. The outdated design (2015) lacked readability, cohesion, and a refreshed identity.
Approach: Conducted research, simplified the layout, used modern typography, and refined the color palette. Collaborated with editors to integrate dynamic imagery and enhance readability. Created an interactive flipbook for the website, improving accessibility and expanding digital reach.
Outcome: Increased reader engagement, improved readability, and strengthened industry reputation. The redesign featured a cleaner layout, better navigation, and balanced modern typography with clarity. High-quality visuals created a more engaging experience, earning positive feedback from stakeholders and solidifying OD as a trusted industry resource in print and online.
