Nelson Asencio

Started my career as a background artist for Crusade Comics. I went on to work in the toy industry for the last 15 years. Throughout my career, I have worked on properties such as KISS, Star Trek, Marvel, and DC. I was a Senior Art Director at Art Asylum up until 2005. During that time, I designed the Minimates body which is now owned by DST.

In October of 2005, I started my own design studio called Storybox Ink and have done work for Hasbro, Mattel, Playalong Toys, Jakks Pacific and others.
