I am currently working as a mechanical engineer for Prime UV in Carol Stream, Il.
I have a wide range of experience in all stages of the product development cycle, in both academic and professional environments. I have worked on large and small scale projects with industry leaders such as Honeywell Aerospace, and QuickMount PV.
Specialties:
Highly skilled in Solidworks.
Familiar with manual and CNC milling and lathing equipment.
DFM/A experience.

BSME Mechanical EngieeringUniversity of Arizona2008 - 2012Focus on thermodynamics, entropy generation minimization, and structural design in classes. Participated in UA Baja for 2 years. Spent first year learning in the shop. Second year, I designed the vehicle frame, and the body panels. Patricipated in UA AIAA for one year. Participated in all club activities including building and launching model rockets.

Mechanical EngineerPrime UV SystemsApr 2013 - Present (13 years 2 months)I work full time as a mechanical engineer designing high power UV curing systems for large web offset printing presses. My job duties are quite varied and include: creating Solidworks models (200+ parts) of products that were created in AutoCAD 2-D, developing new products to meet customer demands, designing custom mounting systems, creating mounting fixtures for electrical components, and performing company wide technical support.
