Sketch Exploration and Inspiration - I designed and created a dinosaur nest which was a part of a dinosaur exhibition at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. The inspiration for the shape of the nest came from an organic bench at Park Gwell in Barcelona. To make the nest interactive I installed puppets along the side, allowing children to play on the inside and outside of the nest. Seating, toys and books are also found inside. The nest was soft to provide comfort and sturdy for both adults and children.
