The basis for this design was to improve the standard Hammer Drill, though the deadlines set forth for this project made for very little time to sketch before going into the final rendering. These are some of my quick sketches and renderings created for the "Tommy" Drill (the bottom rendering was for the "Shotgun" drill, since I used guns for the inspiration of my ergonomic choices)
A breakdown of my design decisions for the Tommy Drill. Primarily, I just wanted to have the drill's weight centralized so it wouldn't be fighting against the user under extreme-usage conditions
The final product, called the "Tommy Drill" for it's layout inspiration. The top rendering is Photoshop, while the bottom was done in Alias Sketchbook

Dewalt Construction Drill

This was the product of a two week project, meant for the demonstration of rendering techniques. We chose at random what market our drill would be aimed at, and I lucked out by choosing construction workers
