Burlesque at the beach - I wanted to illustrate the beach without being to literal. I chose to use a light blue green and different shades of browns for the posters color scheme. To capture the idea of burlesque I covered the woman's breast with sea shells. This allowed me to maintain the image of a burlesque performer, while incorporating the visual idea of the beach. The whole image is saturated in color. The type was hand traced then warped to match the woman's curves, to give the poster an old vaudeville look.

That is why I morphed the bathroom symbols for men and women into something more edgy for this poster. It symbolizes that men and women who are graphic designers are different and posses something special.
