Sustainable Modular Classroom

Sustainable Modular Classroom - This building is composed of eight modular pieces that, when put together, make up two 864 sq. ft. classrooms divided by an 18’ x 24’ core which includes rest rooms, a utility closet and entrance. The building sits on a pair of I-beams which are bolted to secure piers that are drilled into the ground. The main materials include: solar panels (blue), aluminum panels (white), green roofs, and Steel Thermal Efficient Panels. These panels incorporate an all-in-one system of framing, sheathing, and insulation. In addition these panels are resistant to rust, mold growth, termites, and other insects.
